This notification announces the appointment of two Election Commissioners to the Election Commission of India.

In accordance with the provisions of The Chief Election Commissioner And Other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions Of Service And Term Of Office) Act, 2023, the High-Powered Committee (HPC), comprising:
1. Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bharat
2. Hon’ble Leader of Opposition (LoP), Lok Sabha
3. Hon’ble Union Home Minister
has appointed the following individuals to serve as Election Commissioners:
– Dr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Retd. IAS
– Shri. Priyansh Sharma, Retd. IAS
Both Dr. Gupta and Shri. Sharma will assume office effective 13th March 2024. The President of Bharat has also granted his assent to these appointments.
